IT...IS...ALIVE! Kim recently played trombone on country music star Tracy Lawrence's new single "Pills" and is rumored to have other performances in the near future...

As a trombonist, Kim had an extensive career doing studio and concert work in the greater Los Angeles area, New York City and Rochester (NY).  He performed with the Pacific Symphony, Opera Pacific, Phoenix Symphony, Pasadena Symphony,  Ojai Festival Orchestra, ABT, Joffrey Ballet, Dance Theater of Harlem,  Australian Ballet, Paris Opera Ballet, Kirov Ballet, the Woody Herman band, the Tonight Show Band, the Ruttles, Comic Relief III, the Ace Awards and many, many others.  Kim recently produced the premier CD for the trombone quartet Novus which features all new compositions by several prominent composers. This is about as close as he gets to playing the trombone these days...
